Steves London Marathon Challenge for HAD
I am taking part in the Local Hero campaign with Localgiving. Over April Localgiving will be awarding £5,000 in prizes to the top 20 fundraisers. The more donors (big or small donations) I get the the more chance I have to win some extra money for HAD. On the 23rd April I will be running the London Marathon, a tough 26 miles 385 yards long, passing through the streets of London from Blackheath to the famous finish line in The Mall. I would also like to raise funds for Havering Association for People with Disabilities (HAD) which is a wonderful small charity providing support & advice to disabled adults living in Havering and Carers. If you would like to find out more about HAD please check out their Facebook page or website for more information about the wide range of services they provide. https://www.facebook.com/had.havering www.http://hadhavering.co.uk/ I work with an Ultrasonic Rail Testing team for Network Rail based at Romford. I enjoy challenging myself having run marathons more than 20 times all over the world and also taken part in the round the world clipper race (London - Rio) If you are coming along on the day, please give me a wave. Thank you From Steve
