On New Year's Eve we were given the devastating and shocking news that my dad had terminal cancer. This was completely out of the blue and so unexpected. My dad is only 56 and has always been so fit and healthy.
After much consideration my dad decided he wanted to live out his final days in the John Eastwood Hospice at kingsmill hospital.
Myself along with my mum and some amazing family members and friends are running in pretty muddy race for life 5k run on the 1st July at 10:45 at clumber park, Mansfield. We are running the race in the memory and legacy of my Dad.
We are aiming to raise £2,000 to donate to the lovely John Eastwood Hospice. The work they do is extraordinary and so we are wanting to do something to give back to them. They would benefit enormously from this contribution and it will benefit so many more families that are too going through very hard times.
So please dig deep and give what you can.
