Friends of CIS want to raise funds for Chester International School because the students need our help and support more than ever. 
Young people can feel pressure from every angle whether it’s economic, exam and/or societal pressure and it can be overwhelming at times for them.

The current Covid pandemic has made matters so much worse for many students and they are struggling to cope.  Many parents are  also finding it hard to support their children and we believe that quick access to professional, specialist counselling is a lifeline for families.

We want to help CIS continue to provide immediate support through weekly counselling sessions for students in crisis, to enable them to improve their mental health and continue to reach their potential.

Each counselling session costs £50; or £250 per day for 5 young people which equates to £1500 per block of 6 sessions.  We would love to be able to pay for more sessions to either support more young adults in crisis or continue with sessions for those who need it.
