Bath Half Marathon for Wessex MS Therapy Centre
UPDATE ******* As you probably know, the Bathalf didn't happen because of the snow. So on Sunday 4th March, instead of heading to Bath, I jumped on my cross trainer where I stayed, sweating and puffing for 2 and a quarter hours! It was hard work - I think very roughly equivalent to a half marathon. Hopefully my lovely sponsors will accept my effort in lieu of the run (I have photographic evidence available on request!) but if anyone's not happy, please let me know. I've helped out at the Wessex MS Therapy Centre for about 4 years and love it. It's not just the people I meet but the positive vibe there. Multiple Sclerosis is a disease of the Central Nervous System which is often progressive. At present it remains incurable. Some of those affected are able to lead relatively normal lives whilst some may have severely reduced independence and employment prospects, with consequent financial hardship and/or personal or relationship problems. I have my 60th birthday this year and decided to do something completely out of my comfort zone and have signed up to do the Bath Half Marathon 2018 I'm not naturally sporty so I'm training really hard to make sure I can complete the challenge.. I've chosen to run and raise donations for Wessex MS Therapy Centre in Warminster Wessex MS Therapy Centre, is ZERO government funded, so relies solely on the generosity of donations. I would be extremely grateful if you Sponsor me as I try to raise much needed money for our local MS Centre
