Team Fundraisers
A group of 18 people, including myself, who work for Salford City Council are cycling from the Civic Centre in Swinton to The Salfordian Hotel in Southport.
I need your support to raise money for this worthy cause that gives older and disabled Salford residents a much needed break away from home. These breaks help to reduce social isolation and give their carers a break too.
It is 37 miles from Salford to Southport and I have been reassured that there are only 2 hills and we are having 2 cafe stops - they will be much needed!!
Training has been non-existent as I am focusing on running at the moment so it may be a struggle! Certainly sitting down on the Monday after may be difficult!!
I have been assured that there is transport for coming back and food when we get there but this all may be a trick to get us to sign up.
Please support this worthy local cause, who need all the money they can get and also to give me an incentive to keep going up those BIG hills.
