The sessions run from mid-May for 10 weeks and take place every Sunday from 10.30 until 12. They are open to boys and girls from school years reception, 1,2 and 3. Sessions are led by some of the top coaches in the city and all coaches are CRB-checked. No previous football experience is necessary and the emphasis is on FUN. The Sherwood FC Summer Soccer School will give boys and girls from school years Reception to 3 a great first experience of playing football. At the end of the Summer School children will have the option to join the club and play for a team.

Over the last 3 years, 10 new teams have been formed at the end of the summer school. Members pay a modest fee to join and subs are currently £3 per week. In return the children normally have a structured training session on a weekday evening and a match on a Sunday. All kit and equipment is provided. All teams are led by parents, at least one working towards being FA qualified. The club has a brilliant core of helpers - volunteers are at the core of everything we are able to do.
