Team Fundraisers
I’m taking part in the adidas Thunder Run, a 24hr race taking place at Catton Park, Catton, Walton on-Trent, Derbyshire, DE12 8LN on the 25th-26th July.
I'm doing the event as a solo competitor, this will involve me running round a 10-kilometer course for 24hrs with occasional food and toilet breaks. I have set myself a personal goal to run 100 Kilometers.
I’m raising money for Sunshine and Smiles, a small local charity in Leeds that helps families living with Down Syndrome. Being a small charity, they really need help with funding and any money raised will make a massive difference to them and you can be assured will go to great use. It would be great if I could raise £500 for the charity, every penny really counts so if we can raise more, it would be fantastic. My cousins step son Nathan has Down's and uses the facilities offered at Sunshine and smiles, so it's great to know that Nathan will benefit from any funds raised.
