Every year since it started I have run the Jane Tomlinson Leeds 10K, partly because I have a tremendous respect for what Jane achieved (and is still achieving with the 'Run for All' charity. But she was also a member of the Rothwell Harriers at the same time as me.
This year I'll be running for Sunshine and Smiles (a local Leeds charity setup to support young people with Down Syndrome and their families). My youngest Sophie has DS and this new charity will help localise support services which are currently only available 1-2hrs drive away.
