From its humble origins in a house in the 80s, Lewisham Islamic Centre moved into its current location in a converted Night Club. Over the years as the community has expanded, the lack of space has required an expansion into the surrounding shops to now occupy the whole block. All of these acquisitions have been made due to the generous donations of the community. However, in order to cater to the need of the large number of people who visit the mosque, a purpose built building is now required.
Your donations will be appreciated. It doesn't have to be large sums of money it can be little and often. If you help build a mosque you will be rewarded for the good things which go on in the mosque so even spare change you have can build you a house in paradise.
