Sussex Nightstop is an amazing local charity which provides emergency accommodation for young people aged between 16-25 at risk of rough sleeping. I have been involved with them for about 18 months now and have been amazed by the way this small but effective charity has made a difference in so many young people's lives.
It has been an honour to volunteer for them and I have met some really inspirational young people who have shown incredible bravery, determination & humour in the face of extremely challenging circumstances.
I realise not everyone is in a position to offer spare rooms to the charity but you can all help out by donating and giving me the much needed push to get round 26 miles in Brighton on April 9th 2017.
I'll be celebrating my 40th Birthday a couple of weeks before so as a 'veteran runner' Ill be needing all the support I can get!
No amount too small.
Thank you on behalf of my decrepid old knees and everyone at Nightstop.
Ps if you are interested in volunteering for Nightstop they are always looking for more local people to get involved- in a range of roles from Hosts & befrienders to fundraisers. Please have a look at their website: www.sussexnightstop.org.uk
