On Friday 7th November, I’ll be taking part in The Light Group Sleep Out in Burnley.

I am sleeping out so I can gain a deeper understanding of what it feels like to be homeless — not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. Even just one night outdoors will never truly compare to the daily struggles people face, but it’s an important reminder of the harsh reality many live with every day.

The Light Group does incredible work supporting people who are experiencing homelessness and addiction, offering hope, guidance, and a way forward. By taking part in this event, I want to raise both awareness and vital funds to help them continue changing lives.
