In 2023, we said goodbye to our beautiful son and brother, William, whose life, though marked by the challenges of MECP2 Duplication Syndrome Our Children – MECP2 Duplication UK was a beacon of joy and love. William couldn't walk, talk or feed himself, but his cheeky personality and radiant spirit spoke volumes. Through his comical facial expressions, gentle touches, and jubilant hand flapping, he shared a happiness that warmed every heart he touched.

William embraced life with a purity and joy that inspired everyone around him. His unique ability to connect, even without words, reminded us all of the power of unconditional love and the beauty of simple, heartfelt moments.
