Swim 44 miles

I am swimming 44 miles to raise funds for Type1 Kidz. As you all know, Ellie was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes 9 years ago and it changed life for us forever. 

Type1 Kidz supports children, young adults and their families with type 1 diabete, and they give up their time to run meetings, arrange activities, days out and even mini adventure holidays. All of these things are so important to bring everybody together and it really helps the children realise others are going through the same thing and the parents get the support and advice of other parents when we feel like we are failing on a daily basis. 

Myself and Ellie have both met friends (hopefully for life) through type1 kidz and to keep the charity running they are aiming to raise £7500 this year (we know all charities have struggled over the past few years).

So to try and do my bit I am to swim 44 miles in 12 weeks. You may not know that I procrastinate A LOT, so to manage to fit this in to my weekly schedule is going to be very hard for me as in my head I am the busiest person I know ha ha. 

44 miles = 2816 lengths
Per week = 235 lengths per week
Aim do do approx 60 lengths 4 times per week. 

I will post weekly with photos showing my progress along the way but please give anything you can. We are all struggling right now with money so even if it is 50p, £1 or £10, it all adds up.
