Soooo I've decided to put myself out of my 48 year old comfort blanket and to start with have decided to swim across Windermere by doing the great north swim. This saw me putting my wet suit on for first time ever on Saturday...which in fairness deserves a donation on its own merit. I plan to do the big swim next week and believe you me it won't be easy. So the next bit is over to you guys really....for anyone who knows me they knew that I've always given to charity and have been brought up support and treat others how I myself would want to be treated and I ask you to be generous and donate, even if it's only a pound 2 years ago a young local boy, Isaac Nash at just 12 years old, was taken by the sea in North Wales. Like my boys, Isaac was sporty, excelling in all he did and had a perfect future in front of him...and just like that..it was over. I don't believe there was a parent around who didn't recognize that this so easily could be there story...I know I certainly did. The impact on his home community in Yorkshire and Anglesey, North Wales, as you will imagine.. has been devastating. however as so many amazing families do they have gone out there and achieved something very positive and created a sparkle out of something tragic by setting up a charity ...The Isaac Nash Trust has been set up with an aim to provide young people in the area a very needed local skateboard park. The aim being to provide a source that provides community spirit and allows families good quality time together and of course keeping Isaacs 'name alive which he and his family so deserves. I'd really appreciate it if you support me in my swim but more importantly help support the Isaac nash trust and all
