We are aiming to hold our annual fun tournament on 7th November 2021 (covid dependent). With not being able to run the event last year, we are hoping this one will be extra special!
Over lockdown, during SYC's UKU Instagram takeover, we took a poll to see which charity we should support next. We are therefore excited to announce that this year's Charity Hat is raising money for KEEN!
KEEN London (based in Vauxhall) is the only charity in the capital providing one-to-one support at free sports and activity sessions for children with disabilities. Each attending 'athlete' is paired with a trained and experienced 'coach' meaning that their parents and carers can enjoy valuable respite time knowing that their child is being cared for in a safe and supported environment.
Over the past 5 years, SYC events have raised £11,422 for a various charities (Cancer Research, DEC, Mind, Royal Trinity Hospice, Safe Lives and the Felix Project) and we are excited to be able to continue this legacy.
