Using our textile craft skills, Pleasant Pastimes members are working together to make some tactile books for visually impaired children.

Charity "Clear Vision" www.clearvisionproject run a lending library of tactile books for children. Pleasant Pastimes will donate their tactile books to Clear Vision. Clear Vsion have sent us advice and some examples of the books that they lend.

The books could enrich the early learning of all children with visual impairment. So far a counting book, a science book and some nursery rhyme books are in production.
