I'm taking on The Principle Trust Children's Charity 'Ramble for Respite' on Saturday 19th August. A 15 mile fundraising walk, benefiting disadvantaged, disabled, and children with additional needs.

We're embarking on an epic journey starting in Settle, where we'll hike up to the magnificent Malham Cove – a stunning amphitheatre-shaped cliff formation of limestone rock. Traverse through Landscar Settlement, Jubilee and Victoria Caves, and be awestruck by the impressive Attermire Scar, an outcrop of limestone. Witness the beauty of Catrigg Force, a hidden waterfall nestled within a lush wooded gorge before heading back to Settle.

We're raising vital funds to support children with long-term illnesses, mental health issues, disabilities, and those living in poverty. Your contributions will help fund free respite breaks to our holiday homes in Blackpool and the Lake District, offering these brave kids and their families a much-needed escape from their daily challenges.

In addition to respite holidays, this year, The Principle Trust have launched a new initiative in partnership with Morrisons called 'Food For Families.' Through this program, families in need will receive a valuable food hamper filled with essential items to sustain them for an entire week, worth approximately £100. This initiative comes at an additional cost of around £23,000 per year, and it aims to alleviate the burden of food poverty for families who may otherwise not have the means to enjoy a family holiday. We are committed to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable families in Yorkshire through such initiatives.
The Trust's 100% donations policy ensures every penny raised from events and fundraisers such as ours directly benefits the children and their families.

Thanks for all your support and donations. Together, we can make memories that last, Tamsin x
