Tidal is linking up with Christian aid to end tax secrecy so that poor countries get the money they are owed. Essentially, this campaign is just about getting multinational companies to pay fair taxes.

For every $10 given in aid to the developing world, $15 is lost through tax dodging. Increased tax transparency is therefore needed, one way to do this is to change accountancy laws to make country-by-country tax reporting a legal requirement. Country-by-country tax reporting would mean that every company has to announce how much profit it makes and how much tax it pays, in each country that it does business with.

Working with other organisations to instigate local and national support for the issue to help prompt governmental action on this injustice.
