The Basement Project Recovery Programme has been designed by people who have been affected by alcohol and drug issues, with the aim of helping others attain a lifestyle free from addiction, abuse and the fear. The programmes aim is to help people get clean from alcohol and/or drugs and for you to understand more about the nature of the addictive illness. With this understanding you will be able to manage a life free from addiction.
Why they need our serviceOur recovery programme is unique. Run by "experts by experience", those who have "been there, done that", people who are themselves addicts in recovery. Our programme not only helps people stop drinking and drugging (that's the easy part), it teaches them how to stay stopped and helps them on the way to reintegrating and contributing back into their local community.
Plan and expected resultsSome of our results speak for themselves; savings on local services, reduced crime etc, but how do you measure the real benefits?; happiness, meaningful conversations with loved ones, returning sense of smell, self-honesty and new thinking - Recovery from drug and alcohol addiction is a life changing experience and everyone deserves that chance.
