So...Rachel and I shall be pumping our tyres and making a long overdue return to our saddles that have been gathering dust for far, far too long. We are hoping not to be left too far behind Rhys on a team cycling challenge
- Get on your bike for FRAME Virtual Cycling Challenge - that we are 'embracing' in the hope to raise some much needed funds for Pembrokeshire FRAME.
Pembrokeshire FRAME is an amazing reuse charity that supports individuals with learning disabilities and mental health issues. This extraordinary place has always depended on charitable support and particularly after Covid 19, that urgent need is greater now than ever.
All fundraising support raised through this challenge will help give participants at FRAME the very best chance of reaching their potential. FRAME provides training and supported work experience; helping participants to reuse and recycle items donated to Pembrokeshire FRAME. All the beneficiaries at Pembrokeshire FRAME can gain valuable life skills, developing more confidence and independence, through a range of activities provided. With these skills, individuals have a greater chance of finding paid employment.
Pembrokeshire FRAME does not just make a difference to people’s lives, it also helps to protect the environment, by recycling and reusing furniture, household goods and surplus food. All the projects and social enterprises involve participants, staff and volunteers working together to help reduce the amount of waste that reaches landfill sites.
