We're running 14km in memory our our beach babe Nova Justice. For me it is a very fitting way to positively mark one year since her death and to raise money for two fantastic local charities, Families In Grief (FIG) and The Wave Project. 

Jaz is being supported by the brilliant Families in Grief team, and I've no doubt the support and help they're providing him now will help him as he grows older and continues to process and adapt to life without his little sister. 

FIG have been able to help us when many other larger charities haven't been able to. Living in a remote and sparsely populated part of the country means that national bereavement support services just don't have support teams close to us, without FIG we'd have to travel 1-2 hours for the next closest support. So any money raised as we train for this run will make such a huge difference to so many children's lives in North Devon, in fact, it might be the difference of them having any support whatsoever when faced with a heart breaking bereavement. 

This will be the furthest I'll have ever run and my first official 'race' and I'm going to do it alongside some incredible friends. Please donate anything you can help help spur us on.
