Team TSA are taking on Total Warrior! The team of 15 are going to endure the obstacles and mud that Bramham Park will be throwing at them. Over the 12km course there will be the trademark TW obstacles including The Plunge, Human BBQ, The Shocker, Hang Tough, The Ballbreaker, Cement Mixer, Widow Maker and Worm Muncher (to name a few).
Why are we putting ourselves through all of that?
It should be fun, we all like a challenge and we're doing it for charity. We're raising funds for three great causes:
The Funzi Bodo Trust (http://www.funzi.org.uk/) - the TSA company charity that works with the villagers of two villages in Kenya to provide healthcare and to improve educational facilities. Through its activities the charity hopes to break the cycle of poverty which afflicts people's lives.
Do It For Dan (http://doitfordan.org.uk) which supports the Blurt Foundation (http://blurtitout.org) and Mind (http://www.mind.org.uk). The fundraising started in memory of Dan Rhodes who lost his long battle with depression in 2014. The two charities support people suffering from depression and mental health issues and are trying to break the stigma that surround them.
St Rocco's Hospice (http://www.stroccos.org.uk/) - we have kindly been sponsored by Brookson (http://www.brookson.co.uk) so we are also raising funds for their company charity. St Rocco's Hospice provide high-quality care and promote physical, social, psychological and spiritual wellbeing for patients with life-limiting illness.
All funds raised will be split between the three causes so please help if you can.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and help the great causes
