On 22nd Feb 2016 our life was turned upside down when our son Alex was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, a life long condition with no cure. We are trying to raise some money for an amazing local support group WISH Children's Diabetes Group which has supported our family so much, and gives Alex the opportunity to be with other children just like him. I am running the English half marathon 10k on Sunday 18th Sept and our two boys Alex and Isaac will be running their first 1k on 24th Sept at Sherdley Park St. Helens.
