We will operate a night shelter 7 days a week for 14 weeks commencing December 2012. We will offer 25 beds per night. Our guests are given supper, watch the TV like any normal family gruop and then have a nights sleep followed by a light breakfast. No drugs or alcohol are allowed on the premises. Throughout the duration we work with housing and homeless agencies such as Bench Outreach to get people into accomodation

There are many homeless people in our community and at present up to 30 people may be sleeping rough in the London Borough of Lewisham. Earlier this year we housed 60 indivudual rough sleepers over 10 weeks. We anticipate the same demand in December 2011 through to March 2012

We expect to find at least 20 people accommodation beyond the life of our night shelter. 1 or 2 are also likely to gain employment as a result of our support.
