Hi all
I know you will have seen it all before and you each have a cause that is special to you. But this is my fundraising story...
In October I trekked the Grand Canyon for the Heart of Experian Charitable Fund which gives donations to a variety of local charities around the UK.
The Trek lasted 6 days, covering on average 12 miles a day and in the blistering heat of the Sedona Desert so I think this is worth a few of your hard earned pennies...
A bit more about the fund where your money will be going to and is very close to my heart. It is a nationwide fund that donates to various projects, many of which improve local facilities and opportunities for underprivileged children. Most recently, £3,200 was given to Haringey Council to build a new playground and £2,327 to a Nottingham based charity called Literacy Volunteers to help them upgrade their IT equipment to promote literacy in the community.
It was the most amazing experience and I'm so grateful for you donating anything you can!
