Hey!
We're Nick & Tuan and we'll be running the London Big Half Marathon on the 1st of September to raise money for the Fern Street Family Centre 👋
If you've not heard about Fern Street Family Centre, they are a local community centre committed to the well-being of children and families of Bow! Their work supporting hundreds of families in 2023 continues to help vulnerable and disadvantaged families, through play & activities, learning/ESOL programmes, food pantry and one-to-one support.

To strengthen family relationships so that they provide loving, safe and emotionally healthy environments, especially for children and young people
To enable children to achieve their full potential through early learning opportunities, quality out-of-school activities and by equipping parents to support their children’s learning and development
To build family resilience so that families can face the future with confidence: by developing parents’ basic skills, supporting mental and emotional wellbeing, offering crisis support, helping families develop their social and support networks and by working with partners to connect families to specialist support and advice.
To empower families to transform their community by actively involving parents, children and young people in shaping projects, by training and mentoring volunteers and by supporting families and young people to take part in social action and community organising.
To promote the holistic emotional, physical and spiritual well-being of children and families in Bow.
