The Basement provides twice weekly drop-ins for food and laundry. We also offer advice from housing workers, routes into treatment from substance misuse and a befriending service.

Calderdale has no hostels and we provide the basic needs for clients who are socially excluded or homeless. Our breakfasts, laundry and befriending service maybe the only support some people receive.

This is an on-going service and we have found it to be a lifeline for people as well as a good tool of engagement into other health, housing and educational services.
