I am raising money for the homeless pastors by taking on the Yorkshire 3 peak challenge. As part of the team training to become a homeless pastor I know they encounter many people with struggles in there life on a daily basis and forever increasing as I see it in the outreach I attend in leeds .It can be anything from homelessness ,addictions, mental health issues , feeling suicidal, victims of abuse and many other complex issues and needs. Homeless pastors currently run a street outreach in four different areas to help people off the streets and into a safe environment to help address the current issues in their lives.They also run a peer support group and homeless drop in where they provide a safe place for homeless people to come along and have something to eat and drink and talk about their issues and problems in confidence. They also put those who are at most risk and vulnerable into emergency accommodation. The homeless pastors strive to improve the lives of those who are most in need and have nowhere to turn in difficult times.To be able to do the vital work they have to raise money to keep things going .
