I am walking the Nidderdale Way in Yorkshire to raise money for the charity Sunshine and Smiles. It is a 54 mile walk which I will be doing over 2 days with a group of friends including Mark, Jamie, Chris and Niall.
Sunshine and Smiles are a charity who provide support and activities for children and young people with Down Syndrome and their families. The support they give is wide and includes speech and language sessions, behaviour workshops and family therapy (amongst many other things). They also provide a variety of sessions that directly benefit the person with Down Syndrome e.g. swimming lessons, play groups, outdoor adventure and football.
The charity has really helped my family and our lives would be very different without the help and support they provide so any donations, no matter how small, will be very much appreciated.
