The Storehouse offers practical support to people needing urgent help with housing and rehousing. It offers free furniture and household items, help with decorating and gardening. Food parcels are provided for people in need of emergency food supplies. Furniture and food donations are collected from the local area and distributed to those in need.

The Storehouse is providing a free service to people in urgent need of practical support. Referrals are made by a wide range of statutory and voluntary agencies for help to support vulnerable people. Help can be provided quickly and is free of charge.

Success is being able to respond quickly and helpfully to a person or family in need. Practical help in the form of food or furniture can make all the difference to a person in a crisis or starting a new life. The service is run by volunteers however a coordinator is needed to support the expansion of the project in line with the increasing demand for help.
