The Thomas family - Simon, Steve, and Matt Thomas are running The Great Skipton Fun Run in aid of local children's charity The Principle Trust.
They we support disabled, disadvantaged, and underprivileged children, through the provision of free respite breaks. Our aim is to improve the mental and emotional wellbeing of the children and provide relief from poverty, crime, disability and any other disadvantage for the children and their families. The holidays also give the opportunity to strengthen family units and improve the quality of family life.
This is a charity very dear to our hearts, Simon Thomas is charity Trustee and has taken on many fundraising challenges this year to support vulnerable children in our community.

About The Great Skipton Santa Fun Run
The Great Skipton Santa Fun Run is a 5km charity run and walk organised by The Rotary Club of Skipton Craven. Taking place at 1100 on Sunday 28th November 2021, the run will start and finish on Skipton High Street, and is a precursor to the Christmas Lights switch on later on in the day.
