On behalf of all employees of The Wine Society, thank you for coming onto our fundraising page.
It is The Wine Society’s 150th birthday this year it felt like a good reason and opportunity to run a charity fundraising event for Stevenage Community Trust – a local charity that we have worked with before and wanted to support again.
Established in 1990, Stevenage Community Trust is an independent charity providing funding and support to charitable organisations, voluntary groups and individuals in crisis. Their work makes a significant difference to people's lives within Stevenage and the surrounding villages.
We wanted to make sure that as many of us at The Wine Society could take part, so we opted for a series of local walks during w/c 13th May – “Week of Walks”. The walks will start at Stevenage HQ, with three options at 1, 5 or 10 miles long, so there’s a distance for everyone. These will be done throughout the week.
Any donation to Stevenage Community Trust would be greatly received and the support to the employees would be amazing.
