We provide weekly therapeutic play for children within their own school setting. The sessions are carried out by highly trained volunteers. Our volunteers meet weekly with the child they are paired with, and also meet weekly with qualified supervisors who support and monitor their work.

Many children experience emotional difficulties which impact drastically on their family, their relationships, their ability to learn and their general well-being. Child mental health services are severely stretched and have high thresholds - leaving many children with emotional and behavioural needs that are unmet.

Each year, around 70 children benefit from regular therapeutic play sessions. 9 out of 10 children that we work with show a notably positive response to the work we do, including improvements such as increased confidence/coping skills and improved behaviour in school.
