This Girl Can team is thrilled to be taking part again in the Bradford Lord Mayor's Appeal Dragon Boat Festival on the 6th May 2017 in Roberts Park, Saltaire.
This Girl Can team all work or have worked for Bradford Council and are committed to improving the lives of Bradford's Young People and Local Communities - in and out of their normal job roles which range from staff in Sports Centres and Swimming Pools to the Chief Executive
The Lord Mayor's Appeal 2016/2017
The charity YoungMinds is the voice for young people's mental health and wellbeing. The charity exists to ensure that our children and young people - and their parents - are aware of the services on offer and where to find them. YoungMinds also helps them to secure the services on offer and where to find them. While the Appeal concentrates on raising funds for the charity, we want to raise the profile of YoungMinds within the Bradford District and want to develop their activities in the area.
Why the community needs us
YoungMinds wants to raise the profile of YoungMinds within the Bradford District. We hope the Appeal will help local organisations to think about ways in which they might be able to help local organistaions to think about ways in which they might be able to work in imaginative partnerships with YoungMinds.
