The Redway School are fundraising for a horse simulator for their students. The aim of the horse simulator is to allow all children access to the benefits of equine therapy.
For many students they are unable to access stables due to mobility issues or even allergies however many of these students would benefit greatly from the benefits that are associated with horse riding. Including development of core strength and muscle development.
The horse simulator records balance, strength and gives visual aids, this means we would be able to record their progress and allow us to see where students require more help and create a programme to help areas that students may be weaker in.
We need £50,000 in order to make this a reality for our students and any donation would be greatly appreciated to help us achieve this huge target.
We would like to thank Genetic Disorders UK for giving us a charitable grant of £12,500 towards our goal.
