Team Fundraisers
In April I’ll be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon with a few friends. This is my ever first half and I’m honoured to be running on behalf of Life Chance Trust, a local charity in the South of England making a real difference in the lives of young people in the UK.
Life Chance Trust works to transform the lives of 16-25 years olds who have experienced childhood trauma, operating on the belief that childhood trauma can be addressed, and that the challenges it creates can be overcome to help the young people they work with become happy, healthy, safe and independent adults. Through an individualised approach and with focus on building key relationships which bring a sense of safety, LCT aims to transform 25 young lives by 2025, working with a small group of young people at a time.
I feel really lucky to be running for an organisation whose brilliant work can be seen so tangibly and immensely in the lives of the young people they work with. We are all dealt our own hand in life and we all need love, support and opportunities to overcome the hard parts sometimes. I greatly appreciate any donation you can give to this special charity.
