Tour de France? Non merci - I’m doing the much more important *Tour de Tidal* in support of a great organisation campaigning for global justice - from the heart of Leeds. Tidal works hard to expose the links between international debt, trade injustice, poverty, climate change and depletion of the planet’s resources. On a local level it supports, connects and inspires a large number of community initiatives and facilitates the sharing of skills, information and expertise. Recent successes include hosting the vibrant Leeds networking event “Summat New” in Autumn 2014 and the launch of the Leeds for Change website. Tidal operates on a shoestring budget and relies on donations and grants to continue its hard work. That’s why I’ve decided to join the ride, reconnect with some old friends and help raise a few bob at the same time. We’re cycling 100 miles from Leeds to Kilburn, North Yorkshire – and back – during the weekend of 6-7 June 2015. I’m aiming to raise at least £1 per mile, but there’s no limit on what you choose to give personally. Allez!
