I am running the challenging Pennine Barrier Ultra-Marathon. A 50 mile ultra with 2593m of ascent and fusing together some of the finest trails in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. I'm aiming to run this in 10 hours.
Starting at the beautiful village of Malham with trails taking in Malham cove, the Dry Valley of Watlowes, Malham tarn, Fountains Fell, Janet's foss and the wonderful Yorkshire 3 peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
I'm raising money for a local children's charity - The Principle Trust Children's Charity. They are a lifeline to many families throughout the region of Yorkshire. The charity aims to improve the quality of life of children who are experiencing long-term, life-threatening or limiting illnesses, disabilities and special needs, mental health issue or living in poverty. The Skipton based children's charity does this by providing free week-long respite breaks to their holiday homes in Blackpool and the Lake District. Visit their website to find out more - https://www.theprincipletrust.co.uk/
The Trust's 100% donations policy ensures every penny raised directly benefits the children and their families.
Thanks for your support, Tim from La Stazione
