On the 8th of May, I will be slogging my way towards Anglesey to support the Isaac Nash Trust and the building of a skate park in Highburton. Hopefully, we’ll be arriving at some point during the same weekend (or as some have suggested, sometime before year end) Any donations gratefully received Here is the background to the charity Our primary aim is to create scooter facilities for young people in the area in memory of Isaac. We aim to create a skate/scooter park with an exciting feel and cutting edge facilities for all to enjoy. It will also be landscaped and family friendly. Why the community needs us There are no local scooter facilities so this project will provide a great opportunity for people to get out on their scooters and enjoy exercise close to home. We hope to provide some seating and picnic benches close by as well so that parents who go along to watch their young children will have somewhere to rest. Our impact on the community Once completed this will be a lasting tribute to Isaac, who was a very keen scooter and skateboarder and something that all his mates and other young people will be able to use and enjoy for a long time to come.
