The fence would encompass an area from the front of our HQ to the next door building - St Johns, and from the other side to the back fence. This would include our septic tank inspection cover which is constantly being vandalised. The rear of our HQ backs onto a riding school and they are very keen on this idea as it will offer them some form of security.

To provide a secure area for our young people to experience outdoor activities and to protect our building from vandalism. With the security fence, we will be able to use the area for camping to learn outdoor scouting skills without having to pay for camping fees and the cost of travel.

To stop vandals destroying our outside area and using it for drug taking and alcoholic parties. We hope to use this area as a camping section and to plant hedging along part of the fence to offer a little more privacy. Also we want to encourage our young people in conservation with a wild garden to attract insects and butterflies. As a means to help our neighbours with additional security.
