We're celebrating the 115th birthday of the Hippodrome by asking our supporters to Buy A Birthday Brick. We want to create a wall of bricks to show the huge community and volunteer support that we have.
We'd like you to make a donation, in return for having a brick mounted on the wall with your quote or dedication on it.
We're suggesting one of 3 different amounts (Youth Theatre members please see section below for your info):
*£115 to celebrate the 115th birthday of our lovely venue
*Donate an amount equal to the years you've been involved at the Hippodrome
*Donate your age at your next birthday
*Or, of course, you can donate any amount you wish to show your support
All we'd ask is that it's a minimum donation of £25 and don't forget to Gift Aid your donation where you can.
YOUTH THEATRE MEMBERS - It's important to us that you feel like part of the Hippodrome's future. As such, you can buy bricks at a special price of £10. You or your family can donate more if you wish, but if you could ask your parent or guardian to complete the gift aid declaration if they're eligible, that would be great as it adds 25% to your donation at no cost to you.
All the funds raised will go towards our Raise The Roof Project
The bricks will be displayed on the wall in the Props Room initially, and will eventually be displayed within the new space created by the extension.
It's a great chance to show your support. Please add any wording you'd like on the brick to your donation details or email then to steve@todhip.org. You can include whatever you wish; a favourite quote, the first line you ever said on stage, a family dedication or perhaps a brick in memory of a former member. The option is yours, we won't judge (as long as it's not rude!) Please keep any wording to less than 15 words or numbers so we can fit them on the brick.
