New Hope Worcester supports families with children who have disabilities and complex health care needs. My nephew Ferdie goes to the Saturday Club at New Hope during term time and several times a week during the school holidays.
At the club, Ferd plays games, tries sensory activities, has a good chat to the staff and other children and goes out on special trips.
Not only does the tireless work of the staff ensure Ferdie has a great and stimulating experience everytime he visits, it also means Ferdie's family and the families of the other children have a very valuable source of support.
On Sunday 2nd March I'll run a 10K at Bushy Park, on the basis that I have not done any proper exercise since a disastrous footy match in May last year, I reckon it will prove to be quite a painful experience. The only thing that will ease those aches and pains is a bit of help from you please.
