Toni and Tim Harrison know what it’s like to struggle to find help for their child amongst a wilderness of professionals. Three years ago Toni took on the role as Helpline Worker for NSEN and found that the charity could help them with their child’s problems. She now helps other parents to fight their way through the chaos and wants to help them further by raising money to help fund Independent Reports to strengthen their case.
‘At a time when we needed an ear, Pat was always around to help me, she often contacted me late at night with advice and information. She is always working tirelessly to help the families we work with, to make sure the parents and children with SEN find the right direction in their education path. While I help on the admin side and chat to parents, I wanted to do more and so as funding is always an issue, my husband and I decided to run the Colour 5k to help raise fund for the Norfolk SEN Network!” - Toni H
