Hi everyone,
The Experian pH team are taking part in Tough Mudder in July and are in need of your support!
Tough Mudder is essentially a 12 mile obstacle course through ice, fire and whatever else they decide to throw at us (more info at http://toughmudder.co.uk/). On top of this, we have to go to Kettering which is a severe enough punishment in itself and even more of a reason to give generously.
We are raising for our Heart of Experian charity fund, specifically for a new urban agriculture project in South London called Keats Community Organics.
Their mission is to create a more resilient local food system for the benefit of local people and the environment.
The project has six principal aims:
• To increase the availability of London grown organic food
• To train local young urban food growers
• To provide local people with education in food growing and sustainable living through courses, volunteering and educational programmes
• To provide horticultural therapy, shown to be beneficial to people with mental and physical disabilities
• To provide allotment spaces for local people to grow food
• To be a replicable model of financially viable community urban food growing
It's a really great initiative which we hope can make a difference to the local community in some important ways.
Thanks in advance for your support!
