I have a wonderful sister in law who likes to rope me into any of her challenges and advertures....
But this is one of those challenges that I am very proud and privileged to be a part of. Faith in Families are an amazing local charity, who should not need to exist in the first place, and who help children and families living in poverty, and facing very difficult times during the cost of living crisis.
I'm am very lucky to never be in a position to decide whether to heat my home or feed my children. For many, this is the reality. It is beyond imagination. Currently there are more than 24,000 children in Swansea living in poverty.
My challenges for the 40 Cubed Challenge with Swansea Bay Business Club during 2024 include:
- Swansea Half Marathon
- The Welsh Three Peaks
- CarTen
