On 25th March I will be swimming, running and cycling at Radley Triathlon in aid of Keen, a charity that provides sporting and social activities for children and adults with any special need or disability, with the main focus being on fun and the inclusion of everyone.
KEEN relies heavily on volunteers, whose role is to support our "Athletes" and "Members" to get involved in our activities and make sure they feel a part of something special.
I recently started getting more involved with KEEN, who I discovered when I started my nursing course at Brookes. In the picture you will see me volunteering at a KEEN session at the ice rink ⛸. Everybody seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves (athletes and volunteers included!). I really would love to volunteer more often however cannot make any regular commitments due to the shift work involved with being a student nurse so doing this triathlon is my way of contributing more to KEEN. After all, what's so hard about swimming 400m, cycling 22km then running 5km?
All money raised will go directly to KEEN
Thankyou for your support!!!!!!
