On the advent of my 53 birthday last October I wanted to set myself a challenge and a means of helping a local community charity. 

Having always liked the idea of a multisport challenge I settled on a Triathlon,  but then had  the sonic brainwave to enter three Triathlons, well it it has 'Tri' in the name,  further concluding that why waste the attained training efforts, so followed these up by entering two Duathlons, again because well this time it has 'two'  in its name!

OK, so now 5 challenges set over a 4 months period, I seriously needed to get off the couch and started my training on 1st November last and have clocked up a number of the miles in swimming, cycling and running so I sincerely hope, nay promise , that I will complete all 5 events.

These events gives me and you the opportunity to raise money for the very worthwhile Juno Counselling service as they continue to carry out their specialised services.
