Somehow I've been roped into doing an olympic distance triathlon on the 4th of August. I'm raising money on behalf of Disability Peterborough, this is a great cause and if you could donate that would be brilliant.
Disability Peterborough is a registered charity with over 30 years of experience in providing a host of specialist services for people with disabilities. DP provide specialist information, advice and case work for local disabled people, promoting independence and choice. DP also help give local disabled people a voice through the Disability Forum and this helps to shape our city into an accessible environment. They also enable disabled people to access the city through our Shopmobility service and promote inclusive sport throughout the city with the Inspire Peterborough project.
Each year the DP service reaches over 35,000 disabled individuals and they deal with over 40,000 phone calls, which are largely run by volunteers.
