We provide an opportunity for physically disabled to meet and join in with activities; art and crafts, quizzes and bingo, finished with a raffle. We are desperately trying to raise funds to be able to take users on a trip out this summer to visit local attractions and go out for a lunchtime treat. To be able to do this we need to plan transport, staff costs and lunch costs plus any entrance fees.

FDS Northants provides an essential service for physically disabled people. As more day centre services are being closed down due to cuts, we are growing our service to help other users. If the service did not exist people who are physically disabled would be isolated in their own home.

It will be inspiring and such a treat to be able to take our people out for a visit to a park, garden or museum and for them to be able to have a lunch treat out particularly as they are so isolated at home. They need so much care and support that it takes a lot of planning and volunteer support to be able to take them out, but they are so appreciative of the help and support.
