I have recently started working at Komatsu in County Durham. The company nominate a charity each year that will receive charity donations. This year, Hug in a Bag is the nominated KUK charity.
Hug in a Bag is a charity that was founded in 2006 by three women who met during their treatment for breast cancer. Together, they have created a charity that aims to give a hug in the form of a bag containing gifts, information leaflets and discount vouchers to every person diagnosed with breast cancer in Sunderland Royal Hospital and more recently, in Blackpool Royal Victoria Hospital.
The zip slide is from the Tyne Bridge to HMS Calliope. This is a great opportunity to raise awareness of the work the charity does. Please give generously and I hope that I can reach the target.
